Hardcopy

High resolution, clean, black and white artwork supplied at a resolution of not less than 600 d.p.i. (dots per inch), at a size equivalent to 100% of the intended final imprint dimensions preferred. Whenever possible, hardcopy artwork should be provided as a PMT (photomechanical Transfer Process)

Unacceptable hardcopy artwork

The following are not considered hardcopy artwork:

• business cards
• low resolution/low quality photocopies
• four colour process prints
• negative film
• colour transparency film

Digital Artwork

A.A. Advertising Ltd. accepts artwork provided on the following storage media:

• 3.5 floppy (PC formatted)
• Zip disks (PC formatted)
• CD-rom
• Via e-mail: artwork can be submitted directly to A.A. Advertising Ltd. at the following e-mail address: artwork@aaadvertising.com

Vector Artwork

• CorelDraw vr. 10.x (or earlier) - for PC
• Adobe Illustrator vr. 9.x (or earlier) - for PC
• Adobe Illustrator .eps

Important: Please convert all fonts to outlines/curves. Always supply a hard copy via fax (604) 273-5334, or import the image into an MS Word document and send it along with the vector artwork for reference. Adobe portable document files (.pdf) are also acceptable (for reference only)

Raster (Bitmap) Artwork

• Adobe Photoshop vr. 6.x - for PC

As with hardcopy artwork, Raster Artwork files are resolution dependent and should be supplied at a resolution of 600 d.p.i., at a size equivalent to 100% of the intended final imprint dimensions preferred.

Artwork supplied in a pixel oriented format (i.e.: gif, .tif,. bmp., .jpg, .pcx) or embedded into an MSWord Document or Powerpoint Presentation may be subject to additional re-draw charges at a rate of $45/hour
